How I got here

Drexel University

I have a BSc in Photography from Drexel University. I studied there in Philadelphia from 2019-2023.

During my time with Edwin, I gained valuable experience shooting and assisting both in the studio and on location. I developed skills in file management, including tagging and uploading, while becoming proficient with a variety of equipment and software. Additionally, I had the opportunity to photograph local produce for Maryland's Buy Local Week campaign, with my work being featured on billboards and across digital platforms.

Internship at Remsberg Inc.

During the summer of 2020 I worked for Maryland-based photographer, Edwin Remsberg. I was hired to work as full-time intern for the duration of the summer.

For my final assignment from Edwin, I was tasked with researching agricultural agencies and developing a promotional package to represent his brand and establish meaningful connections for future opportunities.
This project was my first hands-on experience with marketing and branding. I I redesigned Edwin’s logo into a puzzle to highlight his diverse photographic portfolio, created branded stickers, and developed QR codes for use across his marketing and advertising materials.

Internship at QVC

The Drexel Co-Op program allowed me to graduate with six months of practical full-time work experience. I spent these six months, and an additional three, at QVC. I worked in the Content Production department as both the Styling and Photography intern.

While at QVC, I was tasked with various responsibilities that allowed me to develop a broad skill set. I gained hands-on experience learning and operating the Style Shoots Live machine and became proficient with other industry-standard software. I contributed to a wide range of eCommerce photo shoots for a diverse range of products, styling and capturing content for both the QVC website and live shows. Additionally, I led a team of summer interns in developing and pitching a concept for a new show to the network.

Although my primary role was to assist photographers and stylists in creating eCommerce content, the team encouraged me to ask questions and actively participate in the process. This support helped me build both confidence and independence in my role, allowing me to contribute more effectively and build lasting professional relationships with my co-workers.

University of West London

My experiences working for Edwin and at QVC led to my passion for collaborating within creative teams to use art and creativity to engage and communicate with audiences. This inspired me to pursue a Master's degree to explore the other side of the industry, following my undergraduate degree in Photography. To challenge myself and gain international experience, I moved to London to study at the University of West London, where I completed my Master's in Advertising, Branding, & Communications at the end of 2024.
